OFFERINGS
Design Professionals, you will be able to earn up to 9 hours of CEUs over two days:
  • All CEUs will contain HSW content, thereby qualifying as CEPHs for continuing education requirements set forth by TBAE [Texas Board of Architectural Examiners] for Registered Interior Designers and Registered Architects.
  • All courses will be approved by IDCEC [International Design Continuing Education Council], which means they will all be approved by ASID [American Society of Interior Designers], IDC [Interior Designers of Canada], and IIDA [International Interior Design Association].
  • Some courses will also be approved by AIA and GBCI.

  • thinking better through neuroscience
  • barrier-free design in hospitality settings
  • emotional wellbeing in the workplace
  • the role daylight and perceived open space play in shaping cognitive function
  • sustainability in both the production and materiality of fabrics
  • how the human eye interprets light
  • optimizing acoustics in a variety of settings
  • solutions for lighting kitchens and dining areas
  • designing all spaces to be barrier-free and universal
  • and more.

FEES
  • Education (ASID Members): $50 flat fee for as many CEUs you want to take over 2 days
  • Education (Non-Members): $125 flat fee for as many CEUs you want to take over 2 days
  • Expo (both ASID Members & Non-Members): $0
  • Pre-Paid Lunches: $15 per lunch per day (Buffet at World Trade Center Food Court)
  • ​Cocktail Party Awards Event: $0 for Competition Entrants | $0 for CEU Registrants | $20 per person for everyone else

About the ASID Texas Chapter

The ASID Texas Chapter represents 1,700+ Practitioner, Educator, Student and Industry Representative members throughout the state of Texas excluding the greater Houston area, which is covered by the ASID Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. Members work in both the residential and commercial fields, either as sole proprietors or as part of small or large firms. Members strive to improve the quality of life for all of their clients through the creation of aesthetically pleasing, thoughtful design that takes into account the health, safety and welfare [HSW] of the public.
