THE 2023 AWARDS GALA
The Awards Gala took place from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Friday, August 4 at the historic Crozier Hall [2218 Bryan St, Suite 105 | Dallas, TX 75201] in downtown Dallas.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating the deserving recipients of the Texas Chapter Member Awards for volunteerism and the talented winners of the Celebrating Design Texas Awards, the annual design competition recognizing the finest interior design achievements within the ASID Texas Chapter.
We toasted our honorees and enjoyed a sit-down dinner catered by Wendy Krispin while awarding our winners on stage, all while having fun socializing with our design industry peers from across the Chapter and beyond!

THE 2023 COMPETITION
The Celebrating Design Texas Awards is the annual design competition recognizing the finest interior design achievements within the ASID Texas Chapter.
The CDT competition is open to all ASID members in good standing in the Texas Chapter. Participants may be individuals or part of a design team engaged in the practice of design. Note: The ASID Texas Chapter Practitioner/Educator member (Fellows, Professionals, Allied, Associate, and Architect members) must have been the Lead Designer of the team.

- Features three new Residential categories take the place of the Residential Individual/Unique Space category: Bar/Entertainment Space, Home Office, and Utility Space.
- Again features two Student categories (Commercial and Residential).
- Also features three Best in Show winners within each of the five DCs (Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio & West Texas): Commercial, Residential, and Industry Partner Collaboration. NOTE: Even if you live in a rural area, you are still part of one of the DCs and are eligible for these new DC-centric Best in Shows.
